The TAROM company provides air freight services to all the destinations listed in the flight schedule.

If you cannot find the destination you need on our list, you can contact us by phone at 204 1255, by fax at 204 2426 or e-mail us at bkng.trace.cgo@tarom.ro.

In most cases, we can provide transport based on interline partnerships with other companies that operate the destinations missing from the aforesaid list.

In order for the transport acceptance formalities to run faster, the packages must meet a few requirements:

• the package must be marked with the name and address both of the sender and the addressee (addresses and phone numbers)
• the outer wrapper has to be strong enough to bear the usual air freight handling.
• cardboard, wood, metal and linen wrappers are accepted. Personal goods can also be transported in bags or suitcases.

The wood wrappers must comply with the phytosanitary regulations (must be marked by the competent authorities or accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate).

In order to prevent any damage to the goods inside the packages, please compact the goods to be transported leaving no empty spaces inside the package, thus also avoiding extra volume costs.

Depending on the final destination, the total transport time (calculated from the delivery time until the package arrives at the destination) can be 1 day (where TAROM operates direct flights), and varies for flights operated in partnership with the partner companies, depending on their flight schedule.

For domestic flights, the total transport time can be 3-4 hours.

The packages are deposited at TAROM Cargo Terminal in the International Henri Coanda Airport, for all destinations (domestic or foreign). See the terminal access map.

For goods delivered in Romania and Community goods, which do not require customs clearance (to be transported to an EU member state), we are available every day, 08.00 to 19.00 (including Saturdays and Sundays).

Goods that require customs clearance should be taken to the TAROM Cargo Warehouse, depending on the customs' working hours: Monday to Friday, 09.00 to 14.00.

Goods that do not require customs clearance can be delivered for shipping at least two hours before the departure time, but only during working hours.

The payment currency may be RON, EUR or USD, based on the exchange rate of the National Bank of Romania on the release date of the AWB.

For shipments to domestic destinations, only the payment in RON shall be accepted.

Natural persons: identity card or passport or a legalized power of attorney for persons appointed by the consignee (indicated in the AWB);

Legal entities: signed and stamped delegation or power of attorney from the consignee company (indicated in the AWB).
