About Cargo
The activities related to air cargo transportation are provided on International Henri Coandă Airport (Otopeni) by the TAROM Cargo Department. TAROM Cargo is a very ambitious and reliable division ready to provide one of the best cargo services.
TAROM Cargo can offer specific solutions as a response to the customer requirements, trying to find the appropriate ways to satisfy their needs into a highly competitive airfreight market.
The department is developing ambitious partnerships with companies such as American Airlines, Emirates, Cargolux, Aeroflot, China Airlines, in order to create a widespread network. These kind of partnerships concluded with different international airlines allows us to enhance our network on areas where TAROM does not reach with its direct flights.
Among other services, TAROM provides parcels and mail dispatches carriage. In partnership with specialist companies, TAROM offers mail transportation to/ from airports in Europe, being appointed "mail carrier" for major postal authorities in Europe.

Our Otopeni cargo warehouse measures around 16700 square meters and has a capacity of 15 000 tones per year, with direct access to the tarmac.
