Services provided in the cargo terminals

• Export both in TAROM aircrafts, and the aircraft of partner airline companies which we have handling Cargo agreements concluded with.

Operations:

• issue of AWB (airway bill - freight agreement) - can be carried out by both the TAROM employees and the cargo agents.
• goods acceptance - carried out in the TAROM terminal, by checking whether the goods are compliant with the transport conditions (documents, packing, marking).
• customs clearance - carried out by the customs officer directly related to the shipper or his representative (the customs broker)
• security checks - are carried out by the competent authorities under the current legislation in force in every country.

Notes:

• Upon the customs and security officers' request, the packages of goods may be opened for inspection only in the presence of the shipper or his representative.
• The goods shall not be deemed accepted for transport until after all the aforesaid stages are successfully passed.

*Import:

• acceptance of the goods arrived on the plane based on an air freight agreement (AWB)
• handling and storage
• notifying the consignee (the AWB information is used)
• delivery after the customs clearance is given to the consignee or his representative, where applicable, and after the specific terminal charges are paid.
