Check-in recommendations

It is good to know the following information:

• For passengers traveling on TAROM operated flights it is recommended to arrive at the airport for check-in formalities at least 45 minutes before standard time of departure. Passengers who arrive for check-in formalities after check-in closure time will loose the right to travel on board of respective flight. TAROM will be allowed to dispose unused available seats after check-in closure time.
• a standard piece of checked baggage has a weight of maximum 23 kilos and the maximum sum of its dimensions (height + width + length) is of 158 cm.
• TAROM passengers who travel at Business class can carry for free, three standard pieces of checked baggage while Economy class passengers can carry for free a standard piece of checked baggage.
• passengers who have Elite or Elite Plus cards, enrolled in the Flying Blue frequent flyer programme, are going to be able to carry one more standard piece of checked baggage, supplementary from the previous mentioned.
• the number of pieces of checked baggage carried for free can reach in this way four - for passengers who travel at Business class, while Flying Blue passengers who travel at Economy class are accepted the free carriage of two pieces of baggage.
• the size and weight for hand baggage: the sum of the sizes shouldn't exceed 115 cm and the weight shouldn't exceed 10 kilos;
• you need to be sure that you have all the necessary travelling documents (ticket, identity card etc);
• any piece of baggage which weighs more than 32 kilos is not accepted for transportation;
• no live animals are accepted on the AIRBUS 318 plan;
• travelling conditions for pregnant women: they are not accepted on board 7 days before the birth date and 7 days after the birth date. Women who passed the 8 months pregnancy stage are allowed to travel only with a medical certificate.
