New European Union rules regarding airport security

 

Transportation rules for liquids in the cabin baggage:

  • The transport of liquids, gels, creams, pastes and other in the cabin baggage of passengers who transit or depart, regardless or the direction, European Union airports, is now restricted to maximum 1 litre, in recepients of maximum 100 ml.
  • The liquids must be held in a transparent bag, resealable.
  • The transport of prescription drugs, infant food and diet food are accepted in the cabin baggage without the special transparent and reseable bags.
  • Any products bought in the transit zone from Romanian airports, other European Union airports or on board of a plane belonging to the European Union, should have a receipt or bill that you should keep for the security check. If these products are sold in special sealed package, you shouldn't open them until you reach your destination or before the security check on the transfer European Union airport.
  • The maximum volum is of 1 litre;
  • The plastic bag has to be reseable;
  • The bag has to be transparent.
