Mandatory documents for domestic flights
In order to register on domestic flights it is mandatory to present yourself at the check-in desk with certain documents:

valid passport
or -
identity card
Any other document that passengers will use to establish their identity (birth certificate, employee pass) will not be taken into consideration.
EXCEPTION: Romanian minor citizens, up to 14 years old will be accepted with the original birth certificate or a legalised copy. For this category of passengers, the birth certificate is considered an identity document.
TAROM Company reserves the right to refuse embarking any passenger that cannot present a valid document establishing the identity of that passenger.
