Training programs
Thinking of the security and quality of it's services, TAROM trains it's personnel both through the TAROM Training Centre and courses and conferences held by other organisations.
Also TAROM participates to external courses of specialized public institutions, private teaching units and training programs suppliers for equipments such as IATA, ATPCO and MERCATOR.
The Training Centre
In 2002, Tarom Training Centre became a ,,Training organisation for Technical Maintenance Personnel" authorized JAR-147 and in 2005 received an EASAPART-147 authorization, the trainings being extended to technical personnel outside Tarom.
The training team is made up of specialists with a rich experience in the areas in which they offer training, with international majors, authorized by the Romanian Civil Airline Authority.
The centre benefits from modern logistic and classes have facilities according to international standards.
The training courses held by the Centre are the folowing:
- flight operations courses
- ground operations courses (ramp handling agents, lost&found agents, check-in agents)
- maintenance courses, mechanics and avionics specialties for the folowing planes: B737 Clasic, B737 New Generation, ATR 42-500, A-310. In the near future the Training Centre, as an Organisation for Technical Maintenance Personnel, will extend it's authority to the A-318 plane.
