Customs clearance
When entering/exiting Romania you should include the following in your customs statement:
Cash
Amounts higher than € 10,000 or equivalent in other currency;
Weapons and explosives
Weapons, ammunition, explosive materials, radioactive materials or nuclear materials;
Hazardous substances
Medicines, chemicals, toxic materials;
Jewelry
Jewels beyond personal needs;
Alcoholic beverages
Alcoholic beverages exceeding 1 litre;
Tobacco
Cigarettes exceeding two cartons (200 pieces);
Art objects
Any art object belonging to state patrimony.
