Medical Form/ Information Sheet for Passengers Requiring Special Assistance

After you book your flight, you may request assistance by contacting:

As a SkyTeam Alliance member, some of our flights might be operated by one of our partners. When that is the case, the applicable policy will be that of the operating carrier and your request may not be confirmed. We will advise of that at the time of the request.

If your journey involves a second flight, we strongly advise you to take in consideration a connecting time of minimum 1 hour and 30 minutes between flights, when you book your trip.

For your comfort and safety, we must take into account several factors, before we can confirm your assistance request, such as:

  • Your general health status and type of disability,
  • The type of assistance requested,
  • The air carriers involved and the limitations for each type of aircraft.

If you need oxygen therapy, you are not allowed to bring your own oxygen tanks. This service is provided by TAROM and charged separately.

If you are transporting full or empty syringes for personal use we recommend obtaining a medical certificate. This will facilitate your passage through the airport security checks.

Please take into account that there may be additional costs involved, both at the departure airport and at your final destination, for any special assistance service. These costs concern ambulance access to/from the aircraft and access to restricted areas. Should you require such services, please make sure you make the all necessary arrangements well in advance, including any additional payments (if required), as all the clearances may take up to several days.
