Please be advised that due to winter weather conditions at Amsterdam Airport (AMS), airport operations will be affected on January 3, 2026.
According to airport authorities:
- Snowfall and icing conditions are forecast;
- Extensive de-icing and runway cleaning operations are underway;
- Airport capacity is significantly reduced.
Announced restrictions:
- Arrival capacity is limited to approximately 35 flights/hour, to be reduced to 20 flights/hour at certain intervals;
- A reduction in the flight schedule of up to 65% has been requested between 05:30 and 11:00 UTC;
- Significant delays are expected for arrivals and departures, and some flights may be subject to changes or cancellations.
What we recommend:
- Check your flight status before leaving for the airport;
- Allow extra time for airport procedures.
- Follow the messages sent by the airline.
