Additional information regarding liquids, aerosols and gels
Only certain categories of liquids can be transported on board the aircraft as hand luggage and they must be presented at the security checkpoint. The rules below apply to all liquids, aerosols, gels, pastes, lotions, foams, creams, jams, liquid/solid mixtures and other items of similar consistency.
Transporting duty free liquids:

Starting January 31, 2014, duty free liquids purchased from any airport or airline can be transported on board the aircraft as hand luggage.

Your item and receipt must be sealed at the time of purchase inside a security bag with a red border.

Do not open the security bag until you reach your final destination.

The security operator may need to open the bag for security screening. If you have a connecting flight at another airport, inform the security operator so your duty free liquids can be resealed in a new security bag.

Transporting other liquids, aerosols and gels:

PERMITTED: Liquids in containers of 100ml or less contained in a single transparent, resealable 1-litre plastic bag.

PERMITTED: Medication & products for special diets such as baby food, necessary for the journey. You may be asked for proof of authenticity.

NOT PERMITTED: All other liquids, aerosols and gels must be placed in your checked baggage.

At the airport:

Present your liquids separately from other cabin baggage for screening at the security checkpoint.

Exceptionally, security operators may open bottles or containers for security screening.

Exceptionally and strictly for security reasons, liquids may be prohibited from being transported on board the aircraft.

If in doubt, ask your airport, airline or retailer for further information before travelling.
