The unaccompanied minor service is the assistance provided by TAROM to a child traveling alone (unaccompanied by an adult), from the point of departure to the arrival at the final destination.
Minimum Age
The service is available for minors who are at least 5 years old at the time of travel. The Unaccompanied Minor service is not available for children under 5 years of age.
Passengers with disabilities
Minor passengers with disabilities cannot travel unaccompanied.
Pets
Pets, when travelling in the passenger cabin with an unaccompanied minor are not allowed.

Travel regulations and conditions

For your child’s safety and a smooth airport experience, there are several conditions that must be met, such as:

  • Let us know, at the time of booking, if your child will travel alone.
  • Ensure the fee payment and service have been confirmed.
  • At the airport, ensure you have filled in correctly and legibly the form “Unaccompanied Minor Request for Carriage – Handling Advice”.
