Weight of standard piece: to establish the standard weight piece, fractions between 23 and 24 kg shall not be taken into consideration; the piece of 24 kg shall be considered as extra weight baggage.
Cumulating weight of pieces: respective weights of pieces presented by the passenger for transportation as checked baggage shall not be cumulated, each piece being considered individually and charged according to the table presented above.
Cumulating number of pieces: if two or several persons travelling together on the same flight and to same destination come together and at the same time for check-in, they are entitled to cumulate the number of pieces of baggage allowed individually free of charge for transportation; however dimensions and weights of such pieces shall not be cumulated.
These regulations apply only for flights operated by TAROM on its own aircrafts. For code-share flights operated by the TAROM partners other regulations imposed by the flight operator may apply.

If TAROM shares parts of the route on the ticket with other transporters, the rules and fees for extra baggage of the first operator on the route (TAROM) for the sector/sectors on which the baggage is checked-in shall apply; please be aware that you might be charged for extra baggage by the other transporters on the route.
Note that in certain countries that do not belong to the EURO zone, the passengers might pay for extra baggage the amounts given in the table, in the local currency of that country.
