How can I obtain the lowest rate for a certain destination?
First, the earlier you book, the more the chances you have to get the lowest rates.
Then, you should select "Lowest fare" on the page where you select the flight you wish but be aware that the lowest rates are subject to certain rate conditions and restrictions. Before paying the total amount please read carefully the rate conditions.
How do I pay for the ticket?
There are two ways to pay for the ticket: online using a credit/debit card or offline, only at a TAROM agency.
To pay for the ticket you can use: Visa, Visa Electron, American Express, MasterCard. The cost of the ticket shall be deducted from your credit / debit card when purchasing the ticket.
For the safety of the amounts on your card, please do not pay online using a publicly shared computer (such as computers in Internet cafes) or a computer suspected to have spyware, Trojans or viruses that can disseminate the data of your credit card on the Internet.
For offline payment please refer to any TAROM agency. Please note that, in case a "cash" reservation is not paid within 48 calendar hours (including Saturdays and Sundays) from its generation, the system cancels the reservation. Once cancelled by the system, the reservation can no longer be reactivated. It is useful to note that we cannot guarantee an extended availability of the seats on the Internet, as the reservation engine works on a "first in-first out" basis. The rate for offline reservation can only be guaranteed within the 48-hour timeframe from its finalization. The opening hours of TAROM agencies are available in Sections National agencies , International Agencies respectively.
Important: the ticket can be paid for online only when booking the flight. If you complete the reservation, online payment is no longer available.
How can I receive my ticket?
All TAROM routes are eligible for electronic ticketing. For reservations paid by credit/debit card, the ticket is issued automatically and sent by e-mail to the address specified at the time of the reservation. Also, a confirmation e-mail for the reservation shall be sent automatically upon reservation completion. If you pay for the ticket at the agency, the electronic ticket shall be issued only after payment.
Can I trust the online booking system?
Certainly. Currently there are over 50 major airline companies using successfully the same online booking system. The producer of the system is Amadeus, the biggest air transportation service distribution company in Europe.
What other ticket payment methods can be used?
If you book a ticket online and you select the "Agency" payment method, you can pay at the agency within the next 48 hours as well as offline (Payment Order, cheque, etc.).

Why is my credit card not accepted by the booking system?
If the online payment is not confirmed, please contact the bank that issued your credit/debit card.
Initially I chose cash payment and I completed the booking; now I wish to pay online using a credit or debit card. How can I do this?
Please note that once the booking is completed, online payment is no longer available. To pay online within 48 calendar hours (including Saturdays and Sundays) from completing the booking and obtaining the booking code please contact any TAROM agency. I paid the ticket online and I need an invoice. Whom can I contact?
To receive an invoice, please send an e-mail with the invoice data to such TAROM department that manages online payments, to the address firstname.lastname@example.org. Our colleagues will send you the requested invoice.
